Skunk buddy

For weeks I have been trying to evict our downstairs neighbor, the skunk. I realized it is a losing battle, and I should accept the skunk as my new buddy until it decides to leave on it's own accord. Actually, since the skunk's arrival the intimidating feral cats have stopped pooping in our garden- bonus!
My mom just sent me this mug from Corduroy which made my day...although I really hope I don't end up being one of the bad things!

It's Tuesday!

So, it's back to work everybody. Although in my case it's keep on going. I am in the midst of making hundreds of prints to take to Sunset Celebration weekend, and starting to get a serious crick in my neck from hunching over the sewing machine.  Above are four of the prints I am bringing, any suggestions??
I really hope my new outfit from Riordan Roache makes it in time, otherwise it will be jeans and a black t-shirt (it has to be black because I will definitely be nervous and sweaty)!

New paintings

Northern River, 18 x 24 inches, acrylic on wood, and Tangle, 8 x 10 inches, acrylic on watercolor paper. I haven't decided if I am going to put these in my shop or wait to show them at Sunset Celebration Weekend...

Just in case you missed Justin

I patiently await the day JT takes over SNL...and also the day he proposes to me.

New favorite shirt

I just received this shirt from the amazing Eve of Thimble and Acorn and it is honestly one of the most flattering shirts. It actually makes it look like I have boobs and a small waist. A magical, optical illusion shirt!

Etsy swim

Totally cute and wearable Kou Bikini Top, and very rad and daring vintage french Starfish swimsuit.
I am daydreaming of the summer that will never come to the  Northern California coast and our frigid, sharky beaches.
50s Pinup Bandeau Top Bikini and Shorts  and nice and simple suit from Molly B Bikinis.
And love these substantial two pieces from LaBronz which look like they would definitely prevent the rogue wave from getting a feel up.

Kai's new prints

Kai is finally adding prints of his new paintings to his Etsy shop. I think he is in the midst of listing them right now.  I love this one!

Judah Ross

I love the simple and elegant designs from Judah Ross! I can imagine wearing the Nefertiti Tank every day, it looks so comfy.

Have a fun weekend!

Definitely need this drink set!

Sunset Celebration Weekend

I am so excited to have been invited, along with some of my favorite Etsy people, to participate in Sunset Magazine's Celebration Weekend June 4th and 5th. If you happen to be in the Menlo Park area come on by! It sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun, and there will be wine.

Here are interviews with some of the participants, including myself.
I get to share a booth with Sandra of Friedasophie Jewelry. I can't wait to see her beautiful designs in person!

Izakaya

Kai and I are headed down to SF to drop off another of his paintings at the SFMOMA gallery (he just sold a bunch at their recent sale...yippie). We are going to an Isakaya bar/restaurant for happy hour and lots of Japanese beer and fried food. I have my heart set on takoyaki and fried chicken skin skewers. I can't wait!!

Jealous!

My mom just got this dress. I think I am going to try and steal it from her on my next visit...shh, don't tell!

I love clogs!

Sexy 70's vintage Cranberry Red Leather Clogs
My favorite clog the Sanita Margrete- (I have owned several pairs of these extraordinarily comfy shoes...wore them throughout high school and college)

Insanely expensive, and super cute Hasbeens

Just missed these awesome ones, so sad!

Ooh, and I found this great site for cheap clogs!
