Book on tape = cheap date

When we finally get our hands on a new release from the tiny library near by, the waiting list is so long there isn't enough time for us both to read it. We each got half way through the new Steve Martin book, reading on alternate days, before it was due back.  Kai downloaded the audio version so we could finish.  Lying in bed, staring at the ceiling and laughing together at the weird character voices of the reader has turned out to be very fun, and romantic! The only downside is you don't get to see the gorgeous book cover (in person it looks like a painting on canvas) and all the awesome reproductions inside An Object of Beauty.

Best leggings

Just ordered these Fold Top Leggings in navy, from Conscious Clothing. I am pretty sure I will be wearing them every day. So when you see me I will be looking stylishly comfy (and probably really dirty from wearing the same clothes every day).

Sunny Friday!

 It is warm here, so I know what I am doing this weekend...weeding. Above is a picture of our garden, with spinach, arugula, mustard greens and leeks, and two tiny brussels sprouts (we had awesome artichoke plants which were devoured by moles a couple weeks ago- total crap).  And above the garden is my arm with dots drawn on in a moment of boredom, and two sketches taped up in a corner of my studio.

New undies?

I am in the market for some new undies, after a terrible incident with a pen  in the dryer left most of my undies looking dalmatian.  These ones from Ohhh Lulu look pretty and comfy all at once!

And I am thinking about getting some new additions from Katastrophic, makers of my favorite undies of all time!

That's my kind of workout!
