Jealous!

My mom just got this dress. I think I am going to try and steal it from her on my next visit...shh, don't tell!

I love clogs!

Sexy 70's vintage Cranberry Red Leather Clogs
My favorite clog the Sanita Margrete- (I have owned several pairs of these extraordinarily comfy shoes...wore them throughout high school and college)

Insanely expensive, and super cute Hasbeens

Just missed these awesome ones, so sad!

Ooh, and I found this great site for cheap clogs!

For the fanciest Martini ever!

Just saw these Twig Martini Sticks in one of Amber Alexander's Etsy treasuries. If I had millions I would definitely own a set of these!

One more!

Married to the Sea, sewn painting. 8 x 10 inches, acrylic on watercolor paper.

Our drinks!

Such a perfect present for your favorite heavy drinker!

Another water painting

Shallow water, 8 x 10 inches, acrylic on watercolor paper.

Three rings

Forget Me Knot Gold Ring
Buried Treasure Ring
Gold Ouroboros Ring

I love jewelry, even though I rarely wear it. There aren't too many occasions to around here, and although I do sometimes, dressing up to paint seems kind of cuckoo. Plus I am terrible with delicate things. I had this lovely ring but sadly it got squished. I like the three rings above because they look wearable while being unique, and sturdy...maybe even unsquishable?!

Tommy's Joynt

Our photographer friend is in town from Austin and we are going to meet him for lunch today in San Francisco. I'm hoping we can take him to Tommy's Joynt, the absolute best, funky and super cheap place for cocktails and humongous sloppy sandwiches.

Espadrille advice?

I am in the market for some flats, and I was thinking espadrilles might just be perfect, since I have ridiculously sensitive feet and always get heel blisters from stiff canvas shoes. Does anyone have recommendations for a really comfy flat or espadrille? Something cute to wear with dresses?
(the first and third image are Franco Sarto, and the middle Kate Spade-though I don't really want to pay $98 for a pair)

Weekend fun!

Thanks to a tip from the lovely Sissy, from our local wine shop Kai and I finally signed up for Groupon and bought a bundle of cheap meals at the Marshall Store which has the best oysters I have ever had! I am so excited. Yum! What are you guys doing this weekend?
And I just ordered these early b-day presents from Riordan Roache for myself from my mom. Thanks mom!
Check out these adorable stickers. And have a happy weekend!

Luna Solis

I am so in love with the beautiful Australian shop, Luna Solis. I have one of their turban headbands which I wear practically every day! Isn't Zyanya gorgeous!

And for a little reality:

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

How lovely would it be to relax in the hot springs outside of San Miguel de Allende, while sipping a chilly margarita?!

New sewn prints

Wedding Hair and Undertow, (I accidentally painted over the Undertow painting but scanned it before things got crazy, so the print is all that exists).

What are you drinking for Cinco de Mayo?

Tequila is my number one favorite hard alcohol, and Herradura has been one of my favorite tequilas for a while now. It is a smooth, easy drinking tequila with the perfect amount of oaky goodness, and affordable as good tequilas go. I like to sip the reposado, or mix it with soda water, mmm. Does anyone have any favorite tequila suggestions? I would love to hear!

I should be painting right now, but am researching tequilas instead, eek.
Happy almost Cinco de Mayo!

Well hello Ken!

Check out these rad, vintage Ken doll clothes from Blue Rose Retro! I wish I could fit into Ken's snorkel set.

New painting

So, I asked the lovely designers from pop-lin if it would be okay to paint their photo, and here it is.
