unpacking

We are finally moved into our new house and studios. It took about five solid days of driving back and forth on Hwy. 1 over Labor Day weekend which was interesting. There were a few middle fingers given to holiday drivers going 25 miles an hour in the 55 speed zone, but for the most part we stayed calm. I hate unpacking. Luckily Kai doesn't mind.

Now for the fun part- buying things for our new place!

I really want this table for a work table. Do you think it would be weird to use a kitcheny work table in an art studio? I'm hoping to find a larger, vintage version for about a tenth of the price...any suggestions?

Photos coming soonish...

I love the table for your studio. I always use things that are used for others ways. :)
Sending you warm blessing, may your new home be filled with love, laughter and memorable memories. Enjoy! xo

Glad to hear you survived the move!
With slow tourists on Hwy. 1 and all! They are the worst. Specially the ones that stop completely on the road to take photos. Grrrr.
But you are done, yay!
Don't freat about unpacking. It will get done, or not...
He he.

Thanks guys! Yeah R, what's up with the people who stop completely. So dangerous and annoying all at once! Oh well, the sacrifices we make for living in beautiful places.

oh hooray for moving! i love to move :)
that table is making me drool. my work table is a dining room table that i bought specifically for getting paint on - http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00813364000P?mv=rr (and yes, it is definitely $119 for a solid and real table!)

good luck with your new home! :)

Good for you! It's almost euphoric to be done with all the unpacking madness, no? That's especially true in the holiday season when it's extra-busy. Well, I hope you guys can relax now, once unpacking and organizing is done on your new home!
